The Georgian Plantation Shutter Company offers a wide range of shutter styles for outstanding homes of distinction that range from paneled styles to fixed louver styles to a variety of optional styles. We offer a multitude of standard shutter styles and have the perfect shutter to enhance the natural beauty of your home. We can also create completely custom shutters to your specifications, or flawlessly match existing shutters that need replacement.

Painted Eyebrow Top Board & Batten Shutters

Board and batten shutters are primarily used on homes that have a country french, cottage or rustic style. Mostly made out of cypress, spruce or cedar they normally have three to four vertical boards ranging from 3-5 inches in width and 2-3 horizontal boards at whatever size the vertical boards are. All of our shutters are custom made but common sizes range from 12-18 inches wide.

Stained Board and Batten with Z Bar

Same style shutter as above but with an added touch. This Z bar gives it more of a cottage look because it replicates old style fencing and design.

Almost all of our shutters come with operating hinges and S hook to hold them back in place.

Painted Raised Panel with Transome Top

One of our more common style, this gives your home a warm traditional look. We use a material called Fiberstrate MR for the panel inset. This is a precision engineered, high resin, high temperature cured all hardwood fiber composite for exterior non-structural Millwook Applications. This product is made by Georgia Pacific. What all this means is a non rotting material for your shutters and less headache for you.

Try to be descriptive and all that fun stuff since this may be what the customer uses to decide if they want to purchase this particular type of shutter.

Painted Louvered Shutter

Our second most common shutter gives your home a warm traditional look. Made of pine or cedar this sheds water down the shutter and off the bottom, with or without a center rail it will compliment any home.
